to some up the last year... back in march i was extremely lucky and i got to go to PARIS and i think i fell in love! Paris is genuinely one of the most beautiful cities in the world and every minute there felt like a dream. i know it sounds ridiculous, but it was honestly the most perfect weekend of my life and it succeeded all on my expectations as i had never been to Paris before! we saw all the main sights and on the Friday night we went out for dinner and then went on a boat trip down the seine before watching the hourly light show as we stood under the Eiffel tower as it glittered in the night sky. then on Saturday we were back at the Eiffel tower at 9am for a trip up it and then we went to the louvre to see the mona lisa and then went for a bit of retail therapy in the galleries tuilleries! finally, on the sunday we were up early again to head over to the mont martre area to go to the sacre coeur, then we went for a wee stroll down the champs elysees and went up the arc de triomphe before the flight back to Glasgow.
back in July i was also very lucky to spend two weeks in sunny Spain (Almeria to be exact) with my whole family! it was honestly just so nice to get away for the nice weather and i actually somehow managed to get a "tan"! my favourite thing about Spain was going to this lovely wee town in the hills called Mojacar because it felt as though you were in Greece with all the white washed houses with their blue doors, as well as the tapas, of course!
now i am in the scary of process of starting to look at uni courses and planning sixth year holidays because i am in my last year of high school, which is a very scary thought!
